Classics...?

Every time an old school movie gets hyped up by the crazy horror fans, I go out and make sure to watch it somehow, whether it's on netflix, I download it, etc. I recently watched the original "Maniac" directed by William Lustig. It was fuckin' awful! Do people actually like these movies or just say they do because they are considered "classic/old school horror" and want to fit in with the rest of the horror community???

same here with the original i spit on your grave, Anguish and the ring for example...didnt enjoy them at all...

I actually kind of liked the original I Spit on Your Grave, although I think the remake is 800% better. The remake is one of my favorite movies!

I agree with you Phrank. I've had the exact same thought. I think we would've had to see some of them when they were new.

I also like the new I Spit on Your Grave. There's a Maniac remake coming soon that looks good. I've never seen the original!

Yeah, you might be right. I'm sure these old movies would have been shocking as fuck back in the 70s and 80s when they were first released.

The remake of Maniac looks like it could be pretty good; the team of Alexandre Aja and Frank Khalfoun looks promising as fuck!

Zombi 2 is an example of this for me... I just don't get it.
